ਹੋਈਏ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਤੇ ਲਗਦਾ ਨੇਹੋ ਮਾਏ, ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲ ਉਰਾਂ ਹੀ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦੀ

ਹੋਈਏ (hoiye) = if we become
ਨਿਰਮਲ (nirmal) = pure / cleansed
ਤੇ (te) = then
ਲਗਦਾ (lagda) = attaches / connects
ਨੇਹੋ (neho) = love / affection
ਮਾਏ (maaye) = O mother
ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ (nahi taan) = otherwise
ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲ (manzil) = destination
ਉਰਾਂ (uraan) = far away / distant
ਹੀ (hi) = indeed
ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦੀ (reh jaandi) = remains
