uhna la ke tad nibhaiyaan ne, te ohi sajjna nu ja miliyaan ve
ਉਹਨਾਂ (uhna) = they
ਲਾ ਕੇ (la ke) = attaching / embracing
ਤੜ (tad) = yearning / deep longing
ਨਿਭਾਈਆਂ (nibhaiyaan) = fulfilled / remained faithful to
ਨੇ (ne) = did
ਤੇ (te) = and
ਓਹੀ (ohi) = those very ones
ਸੱਜਣਾ (sajjna) = beloved
ਨੂੰ (nu) = to
ਜਾ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ (ja miliyaan) = went and met
ਵੇ (ve) = O!The line teaches that sincere longing must be sustained faithfully. Those who remain true to their yearning for the Divine eventually attain union.
