ਹਾਏ ਵੇ ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਨਾ ਮਿਲਦਾ, ਵਿਚ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਆ

Oh my dear saint, Baba Ji, had You not met me on the path of life... who would have woke me up? Who would have had such a compassion for me? Who would have felt such pain for me that I was wasting such an opportunity by living a worldly life... by just running after the shadows of happiness... Who? Nobody. Nobody would have woken me up, nobody would shaken have me up, Nobody would have shown me what is true and what is false.

The line expresses deep gratitude toward the spiritual guide for appearing in the seeker's life. As Baba Ji explains, had his spiritual guide not met him on life's journey, he would have remained lost in worldly pursuits, mistaking shadows for happiness and never discovering what is true.
