Dharna
Yesterday you asked me, O mother, where I go when I close my eyes.

Even the greatest become humbled when your lips begin to speak, beloved.
Just as the words of an innocent child are, such are your words, beloved.
Both ego and fear create suffering, and only the third stage reveals peace.
First comes ego, then fear, O mother — and in the end respectful love enters the home.
If even a whisper reaches my ear, I too would return home.
My heart keeps yearning that all desires may fall away.
